FandomFest Weekend

It took me a couple days to recover from FandomFest. Talk about awesome and miserable at the same time.
First of all the hotel had no air conditioning.. seriously!! This is a convention of thousands of people and no air conditioning. I was really surprised at how little they did to try and make things better. It was darn close to nothing.
The rooms were meh at best and well it was just not so great.

The Event though.. holy moly was it awesome!!
I met some amazing fellow authors, got to meet my publisher, the managing editor and my editor for my short stories. All of them were awesome and I can't even begin to describe how excited I am. Not only to work with them but to call them friends.
The panels were just unbelievable and I learned so much in my time there. I also learned that there are a lot of folks out there, who are just as crazy about writing and their characters as I am.
All in all a great weekend!! So glad that I went
